Debi began singing in bands at the tender age of 13. She has fronted numerous successful bands in the Kansas City area including; Moxie which became Max Groove, Livewire, Debi and the Smithereens, The Fabulous Appollos with Kevin Mahogany, and was a founding member of HotHouse, favorite houseband for 10 years at The Levee. Debi also lived in Las Vegas and performed with Sidros Armada, a well known, veteran Vegas show/dance band. While in LasVegas, she traveled and performed in Atlantic City, at Donald Trump's Taj Mahal and at Resorts International. She also traveled to Canada and performed at the Calgary Stampede. Debi is a seasoned studio vocalist and has been heard singing for the Royals, Country Kitchen, & Toyota, among others. She has done many media production vocals for Marion Merrill Dow and Walmart. She wrote and recorded on the first two Max Groove albums. Debi appears on the Warm Christmas CD,also available at Nebraska Furniture Mart, a fundraiser for Project Warmth; Who Will Save The Children CD, a fundraiser for abused children, and others. Debi continues to front and manage HotHouse. The band keeps busy doing fundraisers, parties and large events with club work interspersed.
